Dear Dr. Gallagher,
I want to thank you so much for helping me prepare for the New York bar exam and achieving my recent success on passing the bar. By studying for the bar again and taking your BarWrite course, it has made me a more competent New York attorney. Of course, students study to pass the bar exam, but once you pass, you must apply what you have learned to real life cases.
Dr. Gallagher's Under-Here-Thereforetm approach to writing essays
allows you to maximize the amount of points one can receive for the law and analysis without spending too much time on one essay, so you can finish the exam. This writing approach has continued beyond the exam, as I use it while writing motions, orders to show cause, and other legal documents for my law firm.
The "World Cup of Memorization" is a study activity, unique to the BarWrite class. The memorizing techniques Dr. Gallagher instills in you, makes you a more efficient studier. Studying for the New York bar exam is not easy and this class comes with a fair share of work, but if you listen to Dr. Gallagher, you will pass. Do what she says for the MBE, essays and the MPT: it will work.
In addition, Dr. Gallagher and her TA‚s provide a great support
system. They are encouraging as you go through this stressful time. At each bar exam, I would see and speak with students from the BarWrite class, which was comforting. No matter how many students were in my BarBri and Pieper review class, I always end up connecting with my fellow BarWrite scholars during the exam. Out of all of the thousands of people at the Javits Center, it was great to see a familiar face.
If you are serious about passing the New York bar exam, you should take this class.
Thank you very much,
Christine Champey
