Join noted bar exam expert Dr. Mary Campbell Gallagher, author of Scoring High on Bar Exam Essays and Perform Your Best on the Multistate Performance Test (MPT), for this informative Free Study Schedules Teleseminar, as she explains how to plan a successful
daily study schedule for the bar exam.
A good bar exam study schedule can give you the structure you need to pass the bar exam. A bad bar exam study schedule, or no study schedule, can ruin your chances. Dr. Gallagher will discuss five common mistakes bar candidates make with their bar exam study schedules and tips to make sure that following your study schedule results in your having the knowledge and skills you need. Here are the first two bad study methods to avoid:
Mistake No. 1: Flying by daily instinct. Make a detailed written study schedule and stick to it. Account for every minute. Every day, day in and day out, from now to the bar exam. Plan your life, live your plan.
Mistake No. 2: Devoting whole days to single subjects. Include every part of the bar exam every day. Don’t just do MBE questions, do everything. Spend time on the MBE, time on outlining essays, and time on studying your lecture notes on the essay subjects.
study every set of lecture notes. Make sure you lightly repeat everything four or five times before the bar exam. Start extra early on the subjects you find most challenging.
